							<description><![CDATA[<strong>Event Date:</strong> Dec 02, 2008<br \>Our 2nd CTAP Region V Regional Advisory Council (RAC) session of the 2008-09 year is taking place on <strong>Tuesday, December 2, 2008 (8:30am-12:30pm)</strong>. This council meeting is being hosted at the <strong>Monterey COE.</strong><br /><br />The agenda will include news &amp; updates about the CTAP staff, services delivered, and the state of our region&rsquo;s budget.&nbsp; An<strong> <em>important item</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong>on the agenda is the council&rsquo;s recommendations for how to utilize substantial carryover funds in support of the 2008-2011 CTAP Region V Program.<br />&nbsp;<br /><span style="font-size: x-small;"><em><span style="font-size: small;">RAC is charged with project oversight for ensuring the regional delivery of equitable and appropriate services to all districts and county offices within Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. The RAC meets quarterly to assess ongoing needs, examine the impact of CTAP services and activities, approve any modifications to services, and provide recommendations for the successful implementation of the state-approved CTAP Region V Plan 2008-2011.</span><span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span><br /></em></span>
